A timeliness of progress linked above to the instagram account im using for those interested. Demonstrating capacitive touch successfully, all but the one bottom red rectangular led to be installed for the front to be complete. I just need to house the potentiometer and close it up now really!! ---

It was all C++ with an arduino nano! If you have a click through the links one.of them shows the nightmare rat nest haha.
