Hello guys, I’m here because I love Ghostbusters and want to do a costume. I used to have one of the old plastic [proton packs](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack) and [ghost traps](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/ghost-trap) when I was about five or six. I loved them, had all the action figures, fire house, ecto one. I loved [extreme ghostbusters](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/extreme-ghostbusters) which came out when I was about six. After seeing the new movie me and my fiancée decided we wanted to cosplay Ghostbusters for Comicon in October. We are planning to do our own British franchise Ghostbusters loosely designed off the new reboot in terms of looks. I am an illustrator (student) and have made quite a few cosplays of various complexity, this will be my first time attempting to do lights and sound however, so over the coming months you will probably see me ask a buttload of dumb questions and occasionally post some [fan art](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/fans/fan-art). Hey hey, Love that the new movie has kickstarted a whole new bunch of busters, I’ve been lurking here for ages with the intention of making my own costume for years but it took GB16 to come along and my girlfriend to start making hers to get my butt in gear. Also like the idea of loosely inspired costumes, that’s the route we’re taking too. I think all the new tech and how it evolves throughout the movie has really opened the door for some creativity and to spin it into our own directions. ---
