# Hose and Uniform Question

I may have missed the topic when i searched for it or searched under the wrong heading, but whats the uniform hose connected to on the belt? There are scenes in the GB1 that the hose looks like it is just wrapped around the belt and then there are some scenes it looks like it is attached to to either the belt or maybe a second hose connector to the [flight suit](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/uniform).

also whats the box on Egon’s belt in this picture?

It’s an IM-179 Gamma Rate Meter on Egon’s belt.

The hose.. as far as I know. Does infact just wrap around something on the belt or on the pack. It might of gone to something originally.. but it is always seen coming undone.
