i was at lowes and i saw something it was a steel duct for a centrel a/c i fiqured that it would make a great center tank and i thought that scuba tanks would be great for side tanks i want my slime blower to be kinda heavy but not over kill and i figured that these would be durable i will post pics when i pick them up on pay day
let me go ahead a warn you. I have a blower in which I used too much bondo on the main tank. I really like how it cam out but it is alot heavier than most plans say it should. It weighs in at 58 pounds to be exact. Now, puting it on and wearing it in for photo shoots and just standing around for about a half an hour is fine, but we walked in two differant parades and halfway through I really felt the weight. I am not trying to discourage you from building a blower any way you want. I’m just telling you to think about how much weight you do put into the build
Ah, but would that be the type of A/C ducting with the ‘ribbed’ design?
yes but its not ribed its smooth its stainless steel
I would make the gun out of that ducting.
i thought about that too but they dont make it small enough for the gun
been done before too i believe…i think fifthrider made his main tnak out of that…looks good too…go to the props section and check it out…but yes it is a good idea and id go with it
