Hi everybody, as you remember, last year, I was looking for a proton pack and Kimball contacted me. I paid him with paypal 700 dollars. He never sent me the proton pack. He has not answered me for 5 months, He doesn’t answer to my PM or my e_mails.
I wanted to say that he is dishonest and he gots my 700 dollars kept for a good proton pack replica.
Piero, thats horrible news! Did the seller give you a tracking # to prove it was sent or did he just take your money and then split? Did you pay with a credit card thru Paypal? If so you may be able to make a fraud claim. Best of luck
I just hate it when people get ripped off  gives the GB community a bad name
OMG!! I’d so be alll over trying to find that guy and give him hell for doing that, that’s alot of money to just take. Try EVERYTHING man, get this guy and get him good!
I had the same thing happen through ebay. I bought something using Paypal, and the item never showed up. There is a problem resolution department that PayPal uses. You log your complaint, and PayPal then goes after the shipper and asks for proof of shipment and whatnot. The shippers account is automatically frozen, and they cannot use it anymore until the problem is resolved. In my case, PayPal attempted to contact the shipper, and he/she never replied. This basically gave PayPal the answer they needed (As to the validity of my claim), and they refunded my money back to my Visa. The shipper is then take to collections by PayPal for the money they had to hand out to cover the dipsh*t’s stupidity. There are lots of ways to have your ass covered.
Actually I’d still try making a fraud claim. Technically refunds don’t have to be done until 3 months after the sale, before it becomes fraud. And that’s what I learned directly from a bank.
I waited about 2 months. When I still hadn’t received my package, and the replies from emails that I sent the guy stopped, I contacted PayPal. It took about a week of them trying to contact the person, when they first realized he was being a jerk. The good thing is that it’s a third party that conducts the investigation so it’s impartial. I think it cost me $20, but it is well worth it!!!
