if ghostbusters 3 by some amazing miracle was made…would the studio build the packs and other props themselves
or would they hire soemone else to do it?
nowadays people on these boards can build packs better than they probably can
this is just something that has been on my mind
also…what happened to all the other props…PKE, slime blowers, containment unit…i heard that they were in storage at sony but i wasnt sure how true this was
I think most studios get prop houses to build props for them. If I’m not mistaken this is what happened with the first two Ghostbusters films.
The PKE was built by an independent company and returned to the prop house after the film was completed. The prop company rented it out for other movies, like the Hulk Hogan/Christopher Lloyd flick “Suburban Commando”.
As for the slime blowers, etc., your guess is as good as mine. They’re probably rotting in a warehouse someplace, but who knows.
heh heh…i remember that movie…i think i rememebr reading a story about i dont know who…seeing the slime blowers and all in a warehouse…i just cant find it…but it leads to the question of have they been stripped for parts and stuff…
