Since 2005, I’ve hosted a weekly radio show on my college radio station. As my show doesn’t have a set format or theme, I’ve often done special shows, such as playing Orson Welles’ “War of the Worlds” in its entirety on Halloween Night 2007 and doing two-hour tributes to historically important bands like Devo and the Ramones.

Here’s my predicament…my show airs Wednesday nights from 10 PM to midnight. April Fools Day falls on a Wednesday this year, and I won’t be able to live with myself if I can’t think of some way to take advantage of it.

I’ve had a few ideas, none of which I’m really thrilled about:

- Devote the whole show to playing standup comedy albums and other funny stuff.

- Act like the station has changed formats and play some type of revolting music the whole time.

- Set the world record for the most consecutive plays of a song, the more bizarre, the better.

Time is running out and I’m at a loss for what to do. Any thoughts?
