Ron’s Father passed away this morning (Sunday) Saturday afternoon he was taken to the hopital with complications. He was flatlining for a little while but they brought him back. Saturday night the doctors said there was a 5% chance that he’d ever wake up. Sunday morning the doctor said that his kidneys were completely gone with no hope of dialysis. They were running tests to check for brain function and his body simply shut down and he passed. I really only have that basic information. Ron asked me to post this online to let you guys know what’s going on as he will be without the net for a while. Please send your thoughts and prayers to Ron and his family. ---

The funny thing about Dads is that they don’t always tell their sons how much they love them or how proud of them they are even though they’re thinking it all the time. Don’t worry about being strong right now, buddy. Allow yourself some time to grieve and let your friends and family take care of you. You’ll get through this and then you’ll finish law school and even if your Dad isn’t physically standing next to you when you graduate just remember that he sees you and he’s proud. Hang in there, friend. ---

Losing a close family member can be an incredibly trying time Ron, so you do what you have to do and take some time for yourself. You know there will be plenty of us here thinking about you and waiting with open arms whenever you’re up to hopping back onto the boards. ---
