# If you've purchased a uniform from the GB site...

If anyone has purchased a Khaki [flight suit](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/uniform) from the GB site I need some advice. I’m 5’11’', roughly 230lbs. Is an XXL to big? I really want one but I bought one off ebay and the only reference they gave me was chest size. I have plenty of room in the chest but the area over my shoulders and under my crotch is to tight. I just don’t wanna be stuck with another flight suit I can’t comfortably wear. Any help is appreciated, thanks guys.

I don’t know from the suit of GBFans… but I brought a Rothco suit from ebay and I got the same measurements as you… XXL is perfect… not too tight in the crotch area and just enough room around the chest to wear a warm shirt for fall and winter 🙂

I just bought a [flight suit](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/uniform) off GBFans. I’m 5’9 240lbs (yes.. i know, shut up) and I bought an XXL because of the chest measurement. I have difficulty getting in and out of the upper half because to get it up and over my shoulders I have to give myself a huge wedgie with the suit. So no, I wouldn’t buy an XXL if you’re 5’11.

Just get you a 52L in a nomex and you’ll be fine.
