Hi, this may be a stupid question, but how exactly do i go about buying some PKE / Iona shells, ive been looking around a bit and keep hitting dead ends, they dont have to come from the uk, but if someone round the corner has a warehouse full of them that would be brilliant xD been fiddling around with some timer circuits and springy mechanical stuff for the wings, intended to go in a lint brush kinda setup… but pound shops never seem to have the cheap junk you need at the time : \ ---

I’m pretty sure I seen an Iona on eBay the other day…It’s obviously gonna need some mods to make it a PKE but failing that there’s always Guntahkella who offers the PKE kits…Might try giving him a shout. Nobody in the UK sells PKE kits that I’m aware off so US is probably your best bet!! ---

They come up on eBay fairly often, and honestly, I think using a real Iona is better than a cast shell. You’ll more than likely going to have to buy the entire “kit” the includes all the brushes and box and such if you go with eBay. ---

Yeah, if you use a real Iona, you have more space to work with inside the body of it for electronics. I’ve been building up an Iona for use as my new [pke meter](https://www.gbfans.com/shop/mattel-pke-meter). ---

How come nobody’s bothered to make a cheaper version of the shell? Or a vac-form? Stupid question? ---

GBdan did make cheap shell casts last year.. they were $10 each of the initial orders. He even included wings as well. ---

Oh ok. I was merely curious, you know, the cost is so high, you’d figure one of us would’ve figured out another way.
