I read somewhere that the 12" gb II 2 figures packs are indeed going to be sold, but they were delayed a bunch of times. In my opinion if they are going to add a new prop they are either going for the goggles but to go out with a BANG I think they’ll do the proton gun; mind you, not a full [proton pack](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack), but a 1:1 proton gun:it will make sounds and lights, and you can display it à la Terminator 2 arm… or heck, you might want to attach it to your full sized proton pack Voilà ---

Actually, the gun would be an excellent idea. Fans could use them for their home made packs, the price would be lower than the traps, and if they sold well enough, a matching pack could be released later. (Or a bundle of gun and pack could be done.) Thats a FAR better idea than [ecto goggles](https://www.gbfans.com/shop/mattel-ecto-goggles), or the [belt gizmo](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/uniform/calculator-circuit-board). ---

I thought about thoroughly during american literature class (yeah, should’ve known better I guess) and I think this is what’s best ---

I still think goggles would be a good idea, and it would be interesting to see what Matty does with it creatively… since the real prop doesn’t DO anything except sit on your face. That sounds wrong. ---

The idea of selling a gun as a prop is something I hadn’t thought of. It’s an interesting idea, I’d install it on my [proton pack](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack). But it might be a risky choice. I mean, a proton gun without its pack is… weird. ---

I really wish Matty would consider making a [Ecto-1](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/uncategorized/ecto-1) before canceling the line. After that I’d be fine with it, we would pretty much have everything so there wouldn’t be much complaints, at least not from me. ---

Just a small point to tito but the MR prop replica line was canceled because the CEO of Corgi int. (which purchased MR) pulled the plug on the project saying [prop replicas](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/uncategorized/mattel-prop-replicas) were too expensive to develop. Shortly thereafter, MR shut its doors for good. ---
