Hi everyone. I have been a fan of Ghostbusters since I was about 5 years old and we had it on the old Betamax. Over the years this is one that I never got tired of, and still really love in many ways. I was drawn to this forum as I was looking for some assistance getting my 12" custom Ghostbusters together, and am glad to see this great film (one of my top 2 or 3 all time) has enough support to warrant its own internet forum. I have been a member of other collectible-related forums for several years, and have most of the GB Minimates and several of the 6" Matty figures. Here’s a picture of my work-in-progress 12" Venkman. He’s got some obvious issues that aren’t easy to resolve (suit too short, belt wrong color, missing belt accessories), but I’m still pretty happy with where he is at the moment. I actually just got some great custom elbow pads, but waiting for the elastic to arrive so I can finish those off. The 12" Matty figures were pretty bad overall, but the accessories were great, so I’m happy to finally feel motivated to create figures I’ll be happy with on display after years of the Matty boxes collecting dust in my attic 🙂
