you know the saddest thing is he died on the day i was born so every birthday i would watch what ever masterpiece lorenzo did on you tube or any other video site. whether it was rgb or anything else.
Lorenzo…though there seems to be little disagreement on that so far, so it almost wasn’t worth chiming in.
both have their ups and downs, but I like Lorenzo Music as the voice of Venkman the best. Great comic timing. I think Coulier’s Venkman and Slimer’s more “chummy” relationship and lack of rivalry are very uncharacteristic of the early RGB Venkman. 
it’s like i said blame the parental boards as well as the executives that went along with there descions.
I thought Music had Murray’s Venkman down very well… personality, and even venkman’s new york accent…
you got Coulier, and it just sounded off…
I admit that I really can’t hear Venkman’s New York accent. Maybe it’s more subtle than the typical Noo Yoik tough guy accent, but I think Venkman’s accent reflected Murray and Music’s Midwestern roots more. (OK, Music was born in Brooklyn, but he grew up in Duluth, MN).
i cannot stand Dave Coulier’s voice as venkman. He doesn’t even sound like Bill Murray to me. Just sounds like Uncle Joey from full house.

To be fair, when I hear Winston I expect a “WOOP WOOP WOOP!” like Arsino used to do. And When Ray talks, I imagine him with Scooby Doo (ESPECIALLY WHEN HE SAYS GANG).
but when Peter talks, It’s just peter. but while watching garfield I constantly expect him to mention proton packs…
the downside is everyone here after reading so many posts is bitter over the fact that coulier replaced music after the 2 season of rgb and i can understand that, however, i don’t really see how you could hate dave coulier’s voice as peter i mean sure the dude may have come from a show that made mary kate and ashley olsen recognized, and coulier may have been off a few episodes, but despite it all when push came to shove aside from other voice replacements like kath soucie as janine and buster jones as winston it pretty much came upon the executives decision aside from bill murray’s. aside from that as i said before parental boards were cracking down on the activites that were going on in cartoons back then. so i guess it was either get with the program or the other way around. and let’s be honest dd any of us want to see the rgb canceled before it reached 1991? i didn’t think so. now getting back to coulier i think we should just drop the whole i hate coulier phase because if he wasn’t on board chances are they would have picked someone else to voice peter venkman and you guys would have waited years later and said some stuff about him too. all in all i say give the dude some props i mean sure he may not have had the comedic timing that lorenzo had but coulier did have the voice you got to give him that i do.
