Just figured I’d let you know that Dan Aykroyd has a bottle signing at Canal’s Liquor Store on March 19 from 1pm to 3pm.

Well I’m in. While I already got my pack signed…I think I’d like it resigned in silver sharpie as last time he had to sign the yellow sticker in black sharpie. That was all he had. My wife wants her pack signed now. The Philly GB’s will be there..and I go where the Philly GB’s go. Hope to see you there Chris! As the first GB fan I met in person..it’ll be cool to see you again.

Anyone have intel on if he’s heading south after NJ (meaning MD, VA) that weekend? Or even an event list of what places he’s hitting this year?
I drove up to MD that one time last fall, missed the line cut-off by a half hour, and only to learn that he was 8 miles up the road from me at Costco in Arlington, VA the next day. F*ck.
No idea. Honestly I just looked at the “Event” calender on http://www.crystalheadvodka.com/events/view. Just keep checking it and see if he comes your way.
So how early should we all arrive to ensure there are no issues with having a chance to meet Dan or being rushed at the end of the event?

Your assumptions are correct, the earlier the better!
I’ve been told that if it’s something cool or special, and you’re willing to wait to the end, he might take some extra time to sign stuff. He generally doesn’t turn people down unless he’s REALLY pressed for time, or it’s something like an interview that should be setup in advance
Basically I will have the overhauled Ecto-4 there, and it will be complete.
It’s going out for an event this weekend semi-complete, but meeing Dan will be it’s real debut.
It would make my millenium if I can get him to sign the truck afterwards.
mburkit, do you plan on going?? I was thinking maybe we could carpool if you don’t mind spending a couple hours in a car with a complete stranger.
I am going but I already have another person riding with me along with all our gear. I can’t fit much more then 2 people + 2 proton packs in my vw jetta, sorry

It’s about a hour and 1/2 drive to get down to the signing. I want to be there between 10-11 am. So I’m probably going to leave around 9ish.
52 minutes from me. Why couldnt he be at one of the two Canal’s 5 minutes from me? lol, oh well just have to make the drive. Anyone else going in uniform so i dont look like a tool?

There’s going to be a few Philly GBs there and some of the NJ GBs as well. You’ll still look ridiculous but at least you’ll look ridiculous in a crowd of ridiculousness.
