i already have the cash for it, im assuming with shipping it will be somewhere around $150, though i hope it doesnt go over that. i dont know how much shipping for be for this item, probably another 10 dollars or so. does anyone remember how much shipping was for the PKE? i dont think it was alot, but since the trap is a larger item i would assume shipping would be a bit more. i guess in the end, paying $150 for an item that regularly goes for over $300 on the secondary market is a steal. plus you get all theawsome lights and sounds and all the other bells and whistles that a custom trap normally wont have anyway. when do you think [mattel](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/toys/mattel) will have the trap up on matty collector site? im surprised its not up on the site yet with a “coming soon” in the title. wasnt the PKE up for a couple weeks before it went on sale? i will say im not looking foward to those white screen “waiting line” pages. but, im confident everything will be ok just like with the PKE. im working on my [proton pack](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack) some more, and waiting on this trap to be released. its amazing, a year ago i never thought i’d actually own a proton pack, and now not only do i have an awsome PP, but the [PKE meter](https://www.gbfans.com/shop/mattel-pke-meter) as well and NOW a [ghost trap](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/ghost-trap). its just like, WOW. geekasm! i just hope i can fit it on my belt somehow, but ill cross that bridge when i come to it. also, does anyone think the ---

Does anyone know what time matty will be releasing the trap? I mean like will they release it on midnight of the 16th or midday the 17th? ---

I wonder, that there are still no new pictures, no information about the trap, and no pre-order like other products from Matty… At our german board we already bet if the trap will be released oct. 17th or shift back/canceled… Like “Oh, we sold no enough Club Ecto 1 memberships, so the trap cannot be produced…” :lol: ---

Does anyone remember when the [PKE meter](https://www.gbfans.com/shop/mattel-pke-meter) sold out? I know it goes on sale at Noon, but I go to work at 2 PM and I’m behind a work filter. I think last year I was able to order after a hour though. But I’m a little worried this year. ---

The eBay sellers of this trap really sadden me. $40.00+ mark-ups for an item they don’t have. They’re taking advantage of uninformed fans and that bothers me. It’s not right. ---

I thought you can’t sell an item if you don’t have it in hand or if you are using someone else pictures for an item, you can get in trouble? Those sellers are selling something they don;t have in their hands. I know it says pre order, but I thought they couldn’t do this. Plus they are using someone else images for pictures and I thought that was illegal? ---

If you popped open that battery door and drilled a hole in it. then fired some small pop rivets through it to hold on the clip would that work? or counter sink it, if there’s thick enough plastic. Or maybe a tapered screw? something like this: the little white dot is the pin for the hinge. ---

i wonder how heavy this thing will be. since its plastic i would think it wont be too heavy on a belt but then you got the electrnics and the pedal and cable so that may be troublesome. ---

YESS!!! so releived to see its up on the site. 3 days left to go!! notice its $5 cheaper then what they said it would be, that is very nice! does anyone know what time it will actually go on sale on monday? i dont remember if there was a specific “time” the PKE went on sale. also, anyones guess on how much shipping might be? i hope its not alot. ---
