# Mattel PKE Meter MODS for accurate sounds.

Hey guys. I just bought a Matty [PKE meter](https://www.gbfans.com/shop/mattel-pke-meter) off eBay and while I’m pretty sure I already know the answer, no one has found a way to mod the prop to add movie accurate sounds have they?

I’ve searched online and this forum and it seems like it’s fruitless, but I figured I’d check just in case.

i think it would be easier to make a shell+wing kit, and your own set of electronics for the PKE

the light functions on the faceplate of the PKE aren’t movie accurate so if you want them to match as well its allot of work modding the matty.

fresh start would be better, the matty face plate is also much thicker then the real prop
