Hey everyone,

Putting the finishing touches on my pack. Just got my order from MMM and everything looks great. Waiting on my electronics from Exoray, and some real clippards. Anyone know where I could look, online or locally (i.e what type of supply company) where I could find all of the vinyl tubing for the pack and gun? MMM is out unfortunately. I see the GBFans shop has some of it, but I’d rather just get it all in one spot. Also, does anyone know what the accurate web [pistol belt](https://www.gbfans.com/shop/uniform-pistol-belt) is? I have seen some on [armysurplusforless.com](http://armysurplusforless.com) and soldier city, but they don’t look screen accurate. Thanks for your help, I’ll have some pack pics up soon!

Matt

This is the right belt, I’m sure of it:

for all the colored tubing on my pack i used cat5 cables with the inner wires pulled out, leaving only the outer insulation. that worked great, very easy to manipulate.

Not exactly the most inexpensive way of getting tubing. 🙂

For our tubing, we’re just using clear tubing (the same you get for the uniform catheter), and painting it with spray paint.

The belt is a military [pistol belt](https://www.gbfans.com/shop/uniform-pistol-belt)…on ebay, contact azmilitary service from one of their auctions on ebay.. the belts they sent us were $10 or less, and were brand new quick release belts. (I think the original were the old style ones, but the quick release belts look very cool, especially sinc the alive packs also have the same quick release buckle.)

Also the large belt has plenty of length for probably a 48 inch waist.

(BTW, the amazon belt is supposedly a cheap “fashion like” version.. the real deals are VERY sturdy.)

Awesome, thanks for everyone’s replies! I think I may just find the right sized tubing and then spray paint it. I’ll have some pack pics up soon!

Make sure you use spray paitn designed for plastic. Or even better, Krylon H20. I don’t know that plastic paint won’t melt tubing, and there’s a real good chance regular spraypaint will. H20 is water based so there’s no solvents.
