I don’t know if the packaging for Samhain has been shown off yet? In case it hasn’t, I am not going to post pics of it. It’s different from the other releases we’ve seen so far. I don’t want to spoil any surprise.
He articulates just like the previous release. The purple is definitely more darker than the other version. The heads feel a little more like polyurethane this time around, but if they did change anything its made the paint details stand out and are very vibrant. I’m really impressed by the paint application once again.
Slimer is not removable from the hand and is an entirely sculpted piece. However, he does have articulation in his arms though. Sorry, I take that back. Looking at it closely one can see that they are two separately sculpted pieces. The hand appears to have a circular plug that is sculpted from the palm and connects into the base of Slimer. Not sure if this is easily removeable but it seems to be glued into place. Since the hand isn’t attached to Slimer’s body, this allows the fingers to be free to move around slightly.
The pack-in ghosts also have articulation in the arms only, but they are very well painted and that’s what shines most about these besides the wonderful sculpts. I’m very happy that I didn’t skip this one and now I am contemplating on not skipping out on the Citizen Ghost set.
