There’s only one kit really if you ask me for Proton Gun lighting, Exoray’s.

As for pack lights, you have a choice. Exoray also makes a set, as does a member by the name of JT94. There’s a few others as well… but Exoray’s is combinable with a sound kit he sells.

What sort of help do you need with the Gun Box?

What you build the shell on largely depends on wether or not youre going to be using it as your pack or a master for a mold. A lot of people here make packs out of MDF that look great but they also mention it weighs a ton. I’d stay away from plywood, it’s even more heavy and harder to work with than MDF, it’s also way more expensive. I myself am using styrene for a master to make a mold off of. Styene packs are very nice, but on the same note are a bit more fragile. Ofcourse you could always fiberglass the inside of a styrene pack for extra stregnth.

I lucked out and had a chance to get the dry rub transfers for both guns i built. MDF is meduim density fiber board. but I’d use styrene for your gun, it will give you the most room for electronics.
