I agree it definatly makes it more realistic as a car needs an air filter to help keep it cool and give the engine air intake, I could pretty much imagine a nuclear accelerator would need some kind of cooling system. And i too am using the method…

The quality of the bumper in a proton pack really makes it or breaks it for me…
what was your method for weathering the pack?
In our little world, the cyclotron was “cooled” with liquid nitrogen during proton collision.
Similar to how the shuttle’s combustion chamber are cooled
And the N-Filter was like an “exhaust” for the gas. Norm might remember more details.
Very nice, I like the weathering and the way you made the bumper is a cool way of doing it.

ive been wondering what the heck to do about the ion arm assembly, and was going to play with the inside of a soda can on other parts for my build…NOW I HAVE MORE THINGS TO PLAY “LETS CUT ALUMINUM CANS” WITH.
I like the rusting effect a lot, especially around and under the bolts and screws. I think it was an overused effect on the handles of the wand but that is just my opinion. I think this pack looks amazing! great work all around!
