It was made to look like the ghost sniffer. The wand would extend to catch a ghost and you could trap them in the thing you wore over your shoulder. I don’t know what it was called in the toy line, and the only evidence that it even existed I could find, was a broken one in a lot of other less than new GB toys. And it was missing the wand and the name.

Never seen that before EVER.
For a while I thought I imagined it ever existed. I remember the commercial for it as a kid. I found that image today on ebay which confirmed that it does, in fact, exist. It’s been driving me nuts for nearly a year now.
I remember that toy. At the end of that yellow hose, there was a long piece of plastic that extened when you squeezed the handle. The piece that extended had velcro on it for catching the soft cloth ghosts that came with it. The side also opened up for storage of the ghosts.
There was a thread a little while ago that was called "Ghost Sniffer Toy " that had a good picture of the box of this toy. I’m pretty sure the toy was named Ghost Nabber or something or something like that. If you do a search of Ghost Sniffer toy in the “Title topics only” you should find it.
