# need some help with the lights in my thrower

I started work on my thrower the other day. have most of it assembled now and holes drilled in it for the switches etc. The thrower i purchased had the power bar lights added to it which are turned on with one of the switches. I have the vent slots cut out on the top for the blue lights behind there and the 2 holes on the main body for the [hat lights](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/hat-lights).

My first question is should the vent lights and the hat lights come on at the same time as the power bar lights on the thrower or do i use a seperate switch to turn these on with the pack [cyclotron](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/cyclotron) lights and [power cell](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/power-cell) lights.

also i see on the pics there is a switch on the gun ear and another hat light. The resin gun ear i have doesnt seem to be that deep to take a switch is this switch used for anything or do people just stick the button on for cosmetic reasons. Also how to i get a light in the gun gun ear, just drill a few holes and run the wires up the inside of the gun handle.

The vent lights are on their own switch.

The gun ear switch was used to blow the flashbulb in the end of the thrower. It also simultaneously turned on the orange [hat light](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/hat-lights) next to it.
