Nutrona wand is 90% done! Its all painted, with decals in place (Thanks gbdude1011! They look great!). Pics are up in my profile. Next thing to do is install my proptronix kit, install hose, and run the wires. Next weekend: Resume on the pack. ---

Got some updates. Nutrona wand is 95% done. Its all painted with decals and stuff, just need to install switches and electronics. Here it is: Many thanks to MMM for the gun kit. It is well worth it. Next, ordered some stuff off from this site, and it came in today: Got [ribbon cable](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/ribbon-cable), SMC elbows, Clippard elbows, ribbon cable tie down, 1/4" split loom, and Zener ESP cards. Thought they might come in handy, and a laugh at Cons and other events. A couple of wavy lines… ---

Well, its been a bit, but it is spring break, and I’ve been doing some work on my pack. Here’s the latest: Got all the necessary pipes on, drilled holes for grieblies, mounted the [Ion arm](https://www.gbfans.com/shop/aluminum-welded-ion-arm), and its basically ready to paint. I’ll be tackling the [bumper](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/bumper) tomorrow, and I’ve got a plan that seems simple enough, and will take an hour or two to fabricate. Then, its on to paint, attach grieblies, decals, install electronics, install loom to gun, mount to Mobo, then to the Alice frame. Hopefully by the end of the week. ---

Its not too sturdy in some areas, but with a little wood and epoxy, makes it tough. I made the [booster frame](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/booster-frame) and [bumper](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/bumper) today, nothing too fancy, as I’ll probably order resin copies of them later on. Just something to hold over til I have enough money to do so. Also painted it up. Did the same scheme as I did the Nutrona wand. I’ll wait til tomorrow to file some areas for the silver to show, and then install the grieblies I have. Then make the Mobo, mount that to the ALICE frame, install the electronics, and put it all together. I’m thinkin Friday I’ll be wearing it. ---

nice! Love the thrower. 2 things I think would really bump it up a notch would be to add a resin exoray [bumper](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/bumper) and a resin [booster frame](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/booster-frame) from either myself, irrcanian/MMM or GBDan. :crunch: ---
