Of recent [Mattel](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/toys/mattel) has stated that they have no plans to re-release the [Ghost Trap](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/ghost-trap), with the possible exception if another movie were to come out. ---

Another movie coming out? I’m sad to say something that wounds me deeply, but if they do another movie, they’ll probably do away with our old Ecto-1, the [Proton Packs](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack) we all know and love, and probably even the traps. Because new toys. But truth be told, I’d rather have a film were those things were slightly modified or updated rather than completely left alone. This leads me to suspect things like traps won’t be re-released. I want this stuff out BEFORE the new movie comes out! I do hope the new one is good, and doesn’t ditch everything, though. This post is probably across multiple threads, but eh. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for all good things! ---

I honestly hope that they don’t make a 3rd, and at this point, I think its safe to say it wont happen. [Previous page](https://forum.gbfans.com/t/new-matty-collector-prop-revealed/15249.md?page=1)
