# New to the board

Greetings-

New to the board but to costuming and prop making. Thus far I have made a pair of [ecto goggles](https://www.gbfans.com/shop/mattel-ecto-goggles) which I have some pictures of but I am having to go and redo them as the glue did not hold as I had hoped. I am also working on a [belt gizmo](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/uniform/calculator-circuit-board) and will be getting my [flight suit](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/uniform) and boots in a couple of weeks on my 40th birthday. I happened to find one of the [PKE Meters](https://www.gbfans.com/shop/mattel-pke-meter) that I believe [Mattel](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/toys/mattel) had put out about a year or two ago on my recent holiday. Wanted to know if those were allowed in with the equipment or does it have to be scratch built. Looking forward to meeting some new friends and learning some new tricks to building more props.

Thanks. Just from reading a few threads I see where I can correct some of the mistakes I’ve done with some of my props. This is a really great site and has tons of stuff to read up on.
