If I recall correctly that Afterlife Ecto has already been priced for $30. But I can’t seem to find prices for the Fright Feature figures. Do we know what the price is for those?

All information comes directly from Hasbro’s newsroom, which is located here: https://newsroom.hasbro.com/media-library. Yes, the classic Ecto-1 is planned but wasn’t shown at NYTF. Not sure if that’s the original Kenner one or something new? What they did show us was the Ecto-1 Playset that is for their Fright Features line.
I love the classic RGB blue to the toys and despite not having the yellow host connector between wand and pack (I’m sure for those of us that get them for our kids…which is who those are made for btw 
can mod them and add a hose) I think these really speak to a lot of us who had the RGB blue pack, trap, meter and such. Obviously done for that nostalgia which from most of our posts here…worked. But for those who can’t wait to outfit their kids in these It’s a very fun time to be a GB and an GB parent
I thought if they ever announced a Kenner Ecto-1 rerelease I’d lose interest in this Afterlife one but I’m actually excited to have a “movie accurate” car to go along with the RGB stylized car now.
It also helps me embrace the Kenner Ecto-1a. I always felt it was stuck in the middle with it being a movie car designed in the cartoon style so you never really knew where to place it. Now that we have a definite movie edition of the car it firmly puts the Ecto-1a in the camp of the Real Ghostbusters for me.
In my headcanon the Kenner Ecto-1a was the result of hiring Venkman’s dad to keep him out of trouble. He thought it would be a great sales gimmick. And that’s why it’s just a “sticker swap” of the original car. It was all flash.
