Offers on an Ecto?

I see similar lines to the '59 M&M. The windows and glass are even a pretty close match. I could see that being a good Ecto and possibly looking closer to the animated version. I’d give that a thumbs up and not worry about the professional car guys. There’s just some people you will simply never see support from so why worry about their 2 cents?

As for whether or not this particular car would be a good Ecto? Yes. The rear quarterpanel fin lines and the shape of the windows are pretty good.

The lines and curves on the front and sides give it a bit of supernatural character, so it would look pretty awesome.

Can anybody tell me what this is? Apparently this is sitting somewhere on the north end of town in my neck of the woods. At first, I got super excited because I thought it was a '60. But then, I thought the rear end looked wrong. This puppy does look rather beat to a pulp.

Pretend I don’t know anything about metallurgy, engineering, or hearses, and just tell me what the hell is going on…

After 30 seconds of basic searching on the internet I was able to find this.

I’m no expert but my guess would be a '60 Superior.

It is indeed a 1960 Superior.

If we look a little closer at the shape of the taillight housings we notice that the car is a 62, I agree with the Superior assessment though.

Haha…I see the shape under the tail lights now as well as the side of the car better…sure looked like a 1960 on my cell phone though!

Here’s a better look.

Sorry, that image didn’t resolve for me when you were first asking. I thought you were asking about the car posted above that. I see the pic now.

Yes, '62 Superior, possibly a crown sovereign.

Some have said that if you can’t get a '59, the tail-lights and fins of a '61 look closer to the '59 than the '60. I’ll let you research and be the judge.

It’s a hearse! Possibly a car.
