# Okay to wash elbow pads after painting?

I finally got around to cutting and painting my pads. Didn’t even bother dying since I wasn’t really impressed with the color of any I’d seen on here that were dyed.

I used gray primer paint on them. Would it be safe to throw them in the washer to get some of the excess paint off and soften them up a little, or would that cause it to come off and make the pads look terrible and/or damage the washing machine?

mine washed out a little and I had to reapply… no biggie
