I’ve heard to many bad things about those. Most of the time you get more then u bargined for ---

We have a couple. one was a gift from an aunt. it’s a william fuld wooden board from approx 1911. We don’t use it because it’s too old, don’t want to damage it. We made one out of wood and engraved it with a dremmel tool and it works good- looks like a work of art. most the time we use it we get some things that don’t make much sense. there have been times though that interesting things come thru, such as poems or riddles..the occasional cussing. What’s fun is when it gives you validating information about you. Not sure if it’s spirit activity, or just our own subconscious guiding it. although once we were using the board and by the time we were through, we realized the table wasn’t in the same spot, but had moved a foot over. ---

We found two ouija boards in my grandmother’s attic. One fifties-era cardboard board that definitely seemed to have something attached to it (maybe that was what the male spirit was bound to?). That sold at the garage sale to some weird guy…hope he was prepared for the free bonus :whatever: We later found a second William Fuld wood board (circa 1907) that’s been in the apartment for about a month now with no “bad vibes”. The planchette is footless and the maple veneer is peeling at an edge (I’m wondering of the best way to preserve/reglue it so as not to damage anything; I was thinking wood glue and a padded weight to hold it during drying, then would it be advisable to coat the entire thing with a sealer?). I don’t really intend to use it, just for display–it is a nice piece. Although it is tempting at times to see if the lady in black is able to communicate…mom has always hated ouija boards and doesn’t want to try. ---

They seem pretty cool, but I just get a bad feeling about them. Some people I knew used one to cotact a dead family member and they got something claiming to be satan and was cussing them and telling their souls belonged to him. I wan’t there so I don’t know if they were just b.s ing me or being honest. but I don’t think I’ll ever ■■■■ around with one. ---

One funnier one came in and said he was sitting on the couch and was daring me to look at him and touch him. Just as in real life, where living people screw with you, dead folks mess with you too I guess. a few times we’d get a spirit claiming to be so and so’s guardian angel. we’d ask really interesting questions and was usually a positive experience.
