# patch help needed!!!

hi guys i have a problem i have bought 2 [flight suits](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/uniform) and i want to buy name patches for them

but i see that the zippers on the chest are pretty high and the max room that is left for a patch to be put on is

about 2" x 4.25" at the most.

yet i am seeing all over ebay that they are making name patches about 2" x 5"inches long

which is obviuosly too long and will not clear the space,

what should i do?

i have 2 suits that are the perfect color and size and when i bought them i did not realize the zippers were too high

is this a big problem?

i mean i can get patches made but it would cost a fortune,

is anybody selling patches that i can use?

any help would be appreciated.

The patches are wider than you’d expect looking with the naked eye. Look at some photos of people’s uniforms from the community to get a feel for them. There are a few in my profile photo albums you can start with if you like.

Also, typically custom name patches are only around $12. Most of us wear our own names.
