PeopleBusters Slime Pack?

Gallons and gallons of aloa vela gel

I think anything you use is going to be super heavy if you fill the entire pack! To save weight you might want to consider bulding a custom chamber that would wrap around a tank, and only hold a small amount of fluid but give the illusion that the entire tank is full. Make sense?

I thought about cutting the water cooler bottle in half and glazing the sides with a kinda gel that will stick, but still look liquid, then making a green cap that goes at the very top of the gel that’s transparent and then put the bottle back together. The trouble i run into there is the eyeballs.

However my genius fiance thought of an amazing idea. She said make it kinda like two layers. Have the bottle itself then have a green transparent, and hollow (SP?) to slide on the inside. Then leave appr. 1.5 inches of space between the layers. Fill the space with some jello or some kinda gel, then you can take 4 eyeballs and put them on each side of the pack in the space inbetween the layers. The gel will support the eyeballs to give it that kinda floating look. For a light effect you can take the mouth of the bottle and make a cover on it. Like the gray part on the show’s pack. Then make a light fixture that attaches from the gray thing, which fits over the mouth of the bottle. Wire the lightbulb to the gun so when you pull the trigger it lights up, thus lighting the pack. This design would make it light wight and good lookin’. Aint she a genius.

What do you guys think???

I see more people getting into RGB props. Maybe we should start a thread in the miscellaneous section of cool RGB items that need replicating?

Yeah maybe. I can’t seem to find the right size water cooler bottle. Suggestions?

Word of advice. Aloe vera isn’t really the best choice because it’s too thick, go with green shampoo or those big jugs of runny green bubble bath liquid to get the best results. Good Luck to ya!!

I think the easiest way to do the floating eyeballs (if the eyeballs are less dense than the slime) is to use monofilament. Just attach them to the bottom inside of the tank with varying lengths of monofilament, that way they can still swim around a bit but won’t migrate to the top. AND you won’t have to use super-thick slime.

Well i found a good green slime, it’s green Dawn dish soap.

Any progress on the actual pack?

Well id did find the best looking water jug at target. I’m gettin one soon.

Has anyone started one?

although green dish soap was mentioned and would work for the most part, eventually i think the eyeballs would sink down…

so here is a different idea. it will be a major pain in the ass, but its do-able. use that gel candle stuff. you can suspend objects in it and it has the air bubbles

ok, just to show you what im talking about, here are some pics

and i found a site that sells glow in the dark stuff too

Yeah, but what’s the cost of that like? Seems to me like the slime is the only hard part of the pack. Given I already had the materials, this would’nt be a hrd project to finish in atleast a week.

i did a quick search and it seems you can get like 10lbs for $20-25

where?
