First time here. So, I am keeping it okay short and you guys may not even need this information. I have created a preset in Optical Flares for AE based on the courtroom scene in GB2 for the appropriate optical flare on the [particle thrower](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/particle-thrower) tip. Of course you will have to adjust the scale and such to match your particular shot. It is a first version, but as a professional vfx artist, I do strive to make it look just as good for fan films as I would for a studio project. Hit me up and I can email the file for you. I just ask for proper credit if you decide to use my preset as a base to improve upon or use it in its entirety in your projects.
