so just looking around local ads where I live and came across a [proton pack](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack). I picked it up for $450 ---

At that price & quality, one might wonder if it’s stolen. The shell & mobo alone cost around $350-400. What part of the country did you buy it from? Does it have aluminum parts, or mostly resin? ---

If not stolen that’s a hell of a deal as it is one good looking pack! Some one took the time to put some nice details and parts into it. Slap a GB1 [ribbon cable](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/ribbon-cable) like the one Ejgunth87 sells and that pack will look pretty trick. ---

$450!??? Yea that’s a steal! People pay insane amounts of money on ebay for ones made of thin plastic and inaccurate parts. Realistically I’d say that pack is worth at least $700-$900 but some people would probably pay a lot more for it. Congrats. ---

I live in Canada. he said he had it for 2 years and his wife was making him sell it due to buying a house. its mostly resin parts and with the dollar right now it comes out to $350 USD tried to see me the matty pke and goggles for $100 cdn about 78 usd. I didn’t have it but I might give me a call after payday to see if he will still sell for 100 ---
