I’m on the verge of getting a second-hand PS2 for the PS2 version of the game. Is this a worthwhile investment or am I better off waiting until the PS3 goes down in price? I ask this question because I don’t have much interest in modern video games and GB is the only game I want. ---

The game is great. The only thing I hated about it was it kept freezing up on me at various points. I would wait for PS3 to get cheaper. ---

My buddy Anthony just got a used PS3 for $200 at Gamestop. That’s pretty cheap for the Cadillac of game consoles. ---

well It depends if you have the FAT or SLIM PS2. I have a 10 year old FAT model and i never had any freezing problems in any games I play. but then again the FAT has a big fan on the back the SLIM does not or if it does it is VERY SMALL and probably not as visible as the one in the back of the FAT ;). ---

Thanks for your replies. Just checked them out on YouTube and I shall probably make do with the PS2 version as a stop-gap until I eventually upgrade my 14" TV/VCR Combi. The difference in quality on the PS3 is too great to ignore. ---

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one having the freezing problem at points in the game. other than that i like the game a lot. I 've had both the fat and skinny. my fat one died suddenly so then i went with the skinny. ---

The game is great but rhe freezes are a pain in the ■■■■!! :sigh:
