Hi, there’s probably another topic of this but I don’t care it probably hasn’t been touched since the FIRST playstation came out. I am an owner of the 40gb/Spiderman 3 combo set that came out a while ago and I love my system Still would be nice to have a larger hard drive but eh I’ll switch it out when the time and money comes.
I only have a few games for the system
GTA 4 = LOVE
MGS 4 = LOVE
COD 4 = Is good
Assasins Creed = LOVE
NFS Prostreet = kinda dull don’t own any other racer though
Resistance = Great
Motorstorm = good game
I love playing online though my internet likes to keep me on my toes with dropping my connections all the time, the bastard!! If anyone else plays online we should switch PSN names. I am online at Rotary87, hit me up!
I had Juiced 2 and all the game did was giv me a headache from the from what I think under graphiced game. What I mean is it just looked like a nice ps2 game not really so much a ps3 game.
I do think Assasin’s Creed is a little repetative but the storyline keeps me coming back, can’t wait to see what happens next.
I wish I had money cause there are a lot of games I want to try Oblivion is one cause I had Morrowind and loved that game. Fallout 3, Farcry 2, Resistance 2, and little big planet are all games I’d like to play.
Just tried little big planet last night and damn it. It makes me want to own it more and more. I loved the game play, that being the simple side scroller (don;t know how to spell that) with fantastic graphics.
Also did you guys read that story of PS3 games based on movies are gonna come with the movies on the disk as well!? That’s awesome thought BUT I’m kinda sketchy on the cost of that game+movie combination.
Well they say with it being Blu-Ray It will all fit in the disk. But I do think with some of the other stuff like the special features and all that. It might be on Blu-Ray live. They always said the space on the disks are huge so I mean why not, only thing Im really concerned for is price
Yeah home is an unfinished turd right now. Hopefully it get’s better now that games are gonna start coming with home achievements (SF4 and RE5). But since it’s still a beta the game is lacking in A LOT of ways. One thing I’ll give it though is the bowling is fun!
The pool game ain’t bad either.Home is boring right now IMO but supposedly they got some cool stuff coming down the line soon.What are the “Home achievements” you speak of?Haven’t heard of that yet.
A little while ago I read that Capcom was gonna have a setup in home that had area’s designed after the game but also have unlock able clothing and merchandise that your avatar can wear.
See check this out, they also announced Home tie ins with Resident Evil 5 as well.
Yeah they put Home out without any backing from the game companies so it’s just a barren wasteland right now
Plus with every one looking exactly the same and nothing to do it just seems like a big prison. They need to make it more available for people to express them selfs otherwise it’s not gonna go anywhere but down.

and i suggest if you havent already, get a HD TV and hook up ur PS3 with hdmi lead or component cables, amazing!
and a little unknown tip, if you have a THX dvd, mainly star wars, indiana. in options find THX optimiser menu, and go through the steps, it tells you how to adjust ur tv to its best possible brightness and contrast ratio, making the picture even more clear and 3d in somecases, yes thats right 3d!
Actually! a standard DVD only has about 8gb of storage space, and 7.5 of it is movie, the average video game…about 9gb, now a BD has 25-50gb of storage space, so there would be PLENTY! of room to add a decent movie, a full video game, and a buttload of ‘special features’.
