I wonder, could the spacer for the top Hammond Box on the San Diego Pack actually be a similarly sized and shaped black plastic project box that’s been cut down? ---

Could be, would make the most sence, I figure it to be a cut down black version of the same box. They have black versions of all their boxes ---
