Return of the Spirit Guide art

Oh wow! This makes me eager to see your take on the other monsters that’ve appeared in the IDW seres to date.

damn, that’s awesome dude!

Great job. Seeing new art at the end of the week was a pleasant surprise. Makes me want to swing out to the comic store and check out IDW’s offerings. About how long does it take from start to finish on these?

Sorry, Michael, I never got back to you on this. D’Orka took about 2 hours to draw and color, the following however, took much longer:

Amazing. Just amazing. The Water Elemental takes the cake. The base of it like a pulsating mass leading up to the head. It easy to see the hard work put into this one.

I really like that fade to black. I suggest everyone zoom out to see it on the screen.

Cheers guys! As I said on my dev account, this one was probably the most daunting purely because of the size! Seems to be striking chords though… Glad it worked out the way it did. There was way more to it originally, beneath where it fades to black, but it was just too much!

Another rarity…

Damn Tristan, if you’re not doing a spirit guide with these I will.

You got some talent there, Tristan.

I’m actually talking to someone today about setting up either ssg.com, spenglersspiritguide.com, occultreference.net, or tobinsspiritguide.com (or something to one of those effects). It’ll be a ways off yet if news is good, though. I was thinking of making it an iPad app, so if there’s someone out there that knows that stuff, I’d love to talk to them!

Thanks too, Venkman_Jedi!

Whoa. I remembered hating this game for eating my money. I think this entity came as a pair at the end. But I don’t think they had names but it’s something I’ll look into.

But right the bat, I’d call them Magma Cyclops. Class 6 Osteo-Focused Biospheric Composites (looks one-eyed and composed of organic matter-magma; compared to creatures like Book Golems or Centurions from The Video Game or the Jersey Devil from Extreme Ghostbusters). Definitely Corporeal, of course.

Maggnamos is good, too. :eyeroll:

ok, if that ends up happening, I might actually want to own an apple product!
