Over at Tv shows on DVD they confirmed that [The Real Ghostbusters](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/games/the-real-ghostbusters-activison) will be released on DVD through Time Warner. They are actually working on special features as well and they say there could be 1-2 disc of features!!! I’m very excited about this!!! I saw this right after I posted this thread! I hope EGB comes state side. But with them already putting the work on a dvd for Germany it shouldn’t be hard to get it over here… And yes it is a great year to be a fan! 🆒 ---

It sounds like there might be some nice extras on the RGB set. As I’m living in Ireland getting a set that size will prove difficult. The price wouldn’t bother me really. I don’t know how Timelife are for distributing worldwide. But its certainly an exciting time for us GB fans, bout time too. ---

I hope that this time the picture and sound levels are better done. On the 2005 GB II DVD “[Partners In Slime](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/real-ghostbusters/partners-in-slime)” had a speed up frame rate at the begining that was pretty bad, also the “Slime Fighters” DVD had some sound issues on “[Slimer](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/characters/slimer) Come Home” , right about where the commerical break would have been. I can’t wait to finally have my favorite childhood cartoon on DVD at long last, here is a list of what I would like to see for special features JMS interview Interview with other writers or some other production crew member Slimer would not do that (1989 ITV 1 Behind the scenes look at RGB aired in England and now on YouTube.) This is great news thanks for those links guys, wow what a year to be a Ghostbusters fan I sure hope to see plenty of behind the scenes making of interviews (new & old) with loads of bonus features & it looks like they may actually happen, 🆒 Ive told my Girlfriend about my favourite cartoon series coming to dvd which ill be buying & she looked at me with a shake of the head & a smile, she knows how crazy i am haha ---

26, 27, or 28 discs? Damn thats alot. surely they could get all the episodes on fewer discs. Either way I am buying this so I guess it won’t matter. ---

GO VOTE ON THE BOX ART!!! I VOTED FIREHOUSE: “The “slime” box features slime oozing down the side of the case, while the “firehouse” case includes animated scenes in the windows, and the ECTO-1 driving out the front doors.” yeah so ECTO-1 and stuff in the windows…easy choice. ---

I had to go with RGB art box because the firehouse rendition was horrendus. For the sides they just repeated the image, terrible terrible job. Maybe if it was the RGB firehouse, but it wasn’t. ---

Keep in mind these are CONCEPTS, which means they aren’t fully developed. They weren’t going to go through the entire box art production twice, since that would require twice the budget. They did little mockups, put them to the fans for voting, and then they’ll fully develop the “winner.” It doesn’t look like everyone is aware of how this normally works (and didn’t fully read the info on the voting page). Time Life can’t ship outside the US (Time Life Canada will also offer the set). Unlike Amazon, which can ship anywhere, Time Life only has rights to sell this within North America, and would be violating their contracts if they shipped it elsewhere. Hopefully someone on the board would be willing to purchase and ship sets to people overseas. Some of these may appear on eBay as well. Gord ---
