# Ribbon cable length?

I’m getting closer to actually starting my first pack (well, technically second, but the first half-finished one got ruined in a basement flood). I found some of the Spectra Strip [ribbon cable](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/ribbon-cable) that I forgot I bought and was just curious, what’s the proper length? I have almost 4 feet of the stuff.

like 2 1/2 feet. you end up trimming it once mounted to look right anyway.
