Hi everyone,

we wanna show you the trap used by us. The trap is incomplete, there are many parts missing, but at least it is showable and it’s rolling.

That’s the trap. The rod to hold the trap is a metal rod I saw off a microphone stand because it already had the hole for the screw. It’s mounted on a wooden rod, screwed and glued onto the trap body. The knobs are out of a set of potentiometer knobs we found in a euro store. We also used them on the packs.

The red rods are only painted hot glue sticks sharpened with a large pencil sharpener.

Here’s [the other side](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/publications/comics/ghostbusters-the-other-side). Now screws yet, no capacitor.

The knobs are glued onto screws. They go into a hole right inside the trap body and hold everything together. They can be removed by turning the knobs (hundreds of times lol).

And out comes this:

The whole thing (except the holding rod) is made from wood. The doors don’t open like they should, they are glued together. I mounted then like Venkman71 showed us in his tutorial, but they were too thick to open and bumped onto the outer walls.

But I hope I find some time in the future to fix this and perhaps use another mounting method to get those doors open.

Hope you like it.

A very nice trap! I used the same way of holding the cartridge inplace on one of my builds 🙂

That’s actually a really cool way of holding the cartridge in. Never thought of that. I might do that if I build a new trap this summer like I plan to.
