Hello All,

Can some one point me in the direction of any one or any where I can get references on what is needed for a screen accurate uniform? At this point im struggling to find exactly what is needed for a screen accurate uniform. Im guessing that it is character specific? At this stage its in regards to the first ghost busters film.

Regards,

Aidan

is this “Two (2) “Bubble-style” Markwort volleyball kneepads, grey (used as shoulder pads)” just part of the alice straps or is it additional? I cant seem to find any thing in reference pictures for this?

Also where does the back of the [yellow hose](https://www.gbfans.com/shop/yellow-uniform-hose) connect to? I know it connects to the leg but where does it go to? Is it the bottom of the [proton pack](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack)?

Lastly, do we need a ghost trap to be screen accurate? Did all characters in Gb1 carry [ghost traps](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/ghost-trap)?

Aidan

He means they are used as elbow pads

Also the [yellow hose](https://www.gbfans.com/shop/yellow-uniform-hose) isn’t really attached to anything. Its sometimes tucked into the belt, coiled around the waist straps on the suit or some believe gaffer taped to the belt

Ray carried the trap on his belt.

Peter and Egon are seen holding it in the montage a few times. Peter also wears a trap holster in some scenes but no trap. Winston doesn’t get touch the goods

So with out the trap holster it can still be considered accurate then?

With the no ghosts patches, they are on just the left arm with the [name tag](https://www.gbfans.com/shop/gb1-name-tag-patch) on the right. Is that correct?

Is there any one who makes the [belt gizmo](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/uniform/calculator-circuit-board) in a kit? That seems to be a real pain in the back side to get my hands on at the momment?

Also with the Alice is there a specific one as I noticed some have thicker straps that go across the abdomen/stomach area and some have thinner. From what ive seen in screen caps for gb1 its a thinner strap, is that correct?

Thanks for the help

Nick-a-tron has a resin kit. You just have to supply the Nixie tubes and any other real electronics you want on the board. They come out nice.

In GB1, they used a custom leather holster with a [V-hook](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/v-hook) to carry the trap.

In GB2, the holster is similar in shape, except it has an aluminum back plate bolted to the leather front. It also has a strap to secure the trap. Oddly enough, they never actually used the strap in GB2 to secure the trap; they just hung misc. equipment from it like the trap pedal or the slime jars.

The Reference section has some good photos of a screen-used GB2 trap holster:

Most people tend to go with the GB2-style trap holster, as it holds the trap better. Of course, if you want the trap hanging low on your belt at an angle (like on Ray’s belt during the hotel scene), then a GB1 trap holster is the way to go.

At some point in the movie, I recall them being attached to key fobs, but I can’t find a picture of it.
