Wow! I can’t tell you much I love this. I adore vintage-style art, and this one is so cool with the giant neutrona wand, and those lovely gams.
I think the newer background is definitely an improvement, my only critique is that I don’t like the newer lips - they’re way too full and too red IMO (and maybe the red on the no-ghost could be softened as well), of course I prefer thin-lips and dark hair, so take that for what it’s worth…
i like the first version.. well the lips in the first version more. they look to injected in the seconded
Ya, I had some trouble with the mouth on this one. went back and did some penciles and will scan it in. Even though working with a stylus is like drawing traditionally nothing will ever replace the feel of drawing on paper. At the moment tho’ I had to walk away from it..
So I started the next one and I’m loving it. It was a huge chore painting ecto1. Soooo much chrome!. omg - at first I was like it’ll be fun, but it’s been a lot of work getting the reflections right. But now that I look at it. I’m glad I did. Its really coming together. Then finding the right model to pose for the shot and getting her pose just right was fun too, especially when you just have a saw horse to put in the place of the car. Its coming together tho’ I’ve been dying to work on a project that has so many different light sources in it. The car really does give off a lot of light. either directly or indirectly via reflections.
I hope to get something up to show you shortly. This is really going to be a great Calendar. Would love to send one to Dan Ackroyd. I have a friend that might be able to hook that up.
