Does anyone have any decent alternatives to the pipes used on th original items as I am struggling to find anything accurate in the uk Will post my finished item once finished just working on the vest part of it ---

I used some 1.5" Flexible Duct Hose: [http://www.nostalgicairparts.com/air-conditioning/1-5-inch-flexible-duct-hose-406.php](http://www.nostalgicairparts.com/air-conditioning/1-5-inch-flexible-duct-hose-406.php) I purchased 10’ of that hose. Then wrapped it in some heat shrink fabric: [http://www.amazon.com/Techflex-H2F1-97BK6-Heatshrink-Unshrunk-Diameter/dp/B004U7NKN8?tag=gbfans-discourse-20](http://www.amazon.com/Techflex-H2F1-97BK6-Heatshrink-Unshrunk-Diameter/dp/B004U7NKN8?tag=gbfans-discourse-20) I found 10’ sections on eBay and went with that. hey geKx, when you bought the hose did you put 10 for QTY: or did you have to specify with the company? ---

Just re-read that question. Sorry, I thought you ment the heat shrink fabric.. on the hose it was sold per foot. I went with 10’ because I had read the two back hoses were around 3’ a piece and the side was 4’. I’d rather have them too long and then shorten as needed than too short to begin with. ---

yeah I noticed they sold the hose by the foot and when it says quantity I was wondering if you put 10. Sorry I didn’t phrase my questions clear. ---

Yep, just put a 10 in for the quantity. They ship it in one solid 10 foot piece. ---

just called the site for the duct hose and they havn’t been able to stock it in months. any other ideas where to source em? ---
