I think you should build these.
It looks to me like you just took the top half of the EGB pack, flipped it over and made it the bottom. Then trimmed the things off the side.
Loving the latest designs. The trap is a PERFECT blend and I do love the thrower and PKE. The pack still needs some tweaks, but it’s getting there in my opinion 
I do agree with what’s been said, it needs a cyclotron to scream “proton pack” to me. maybe borrow the concept design style for the Wii with the two lights. Make it smaller and place it at the lower end of the pack, below the vent. Then have a ribbed conduit (similar to what went around that yellow cylinder on the RGB pack) running from the small cyclotron to the hazard stripped box on the upper right of the pack.

I have no idea what you’re talking about as far as a “proton shotgun” and as far as the packs design similarity to the EGB pack, yes that’s intentional. As I stated that my pack is influenced by that design as a stepping stone,** the only reason why I bothered to post pics here was because I hit a creative wall and I figured that a ghostbuster fan community would offer valuable input on what direction to take next. **
however aside from some appreciated positive input, my negative feedback only seems to go as far as to state that it’s not the old design and therefore not valid; but not bothering to really offer any constructive criticism, only destructive criticism.
If you’re going to complain that I’m not doing a cookie cutter design, then please keep your negative criticism to at least being useful.
Otherwise… I REALY DONT CARE!

all you did was edit what you drew into your first post. good job.
I think it looks pretty good overall, but I don’t like the curve in the back handle of the gun. It just looks… limp. 
I know that’s what a pistol grip on a shotgun looks like, but something about the angle of it doesn’t sit quite right with me. Possibly a little more angle would help.
Otherwise, start building, and we’ll get to see what this thing is really gonna turn out like! 
Actually a pistol grip on a shotgun doesn’t make it droop at all. If it did shotguns wouldn’t be made with them; because they wouldn’t be stable at all.

Now that makes more sense.
Even still Sawed off shotties are very dangerous to use, because the stock on the grip has been cut off, not giving enough for any kind of stability.

Mad Max you got me on, but AHNULD used a lever action shotgun. Nowhere near as much kick as a sawed off shottie.
Read down in that article a little. Its only talking about a ban in Wisconsin. Actually most other countries do build new nuclear power plants. France has quite a few.
Chernobyl was a first generation reactor that was not maintained properly. All newer designs have built in fail safes that would keep that from happening again.
