Just wondering if anyone knows how to party up on the 360 to play ranked matches? Is it even possible? Almost every other game on the 360 has the ability to team up and play in ranked matches? I am sick of only being able to play unranked with my buddies in this game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Actually what you can do is make your own custom match and tell your friends what game type you choose that way they can search for your gamertag to join in. only problem is that you cant save private slots so your friends gotta be quick to join your room so you can play with em instead of strangers. thats how me and a buddy did it.

Same how we’ve been doing it.

Same here. That method works ok…but because of the unpredictability of the online mode, sometimes I’ll start a game, and one guy will have issues finding my game or getting into it and the room fills up before he can get in.

No but you should be able to if your the host IMO, at least in the game lobby. Im sick of hosting a game and watching people join but never seem to hit the ready button so a game can be started. Erghh

Wow, if thats the only way to play ranked matches with friends. It really is starting feel like multi player was definitely an afterthought… Considering Xbox really likes to push the ability to party up. I suppose it goes on a list of things that need to be fix before they get a sequel off the ground. Along with being able to customize your own ghostbuster.

Yeah it’s too bad the multiplayer is so flawed because once it gets going it is a lot of fun.

I don’t have a problem with playing on-line. To me the game seems just fine. My only problem is finding good people who arn’t douches to play with.

Well I am a non ■■■■■■ and my gamer tag is Bigg Daddy86. Anyone wanna add me go ahead. This is such a great game. I love the multiplayer way more than going back through the single player. Sometimes you can get a few guys that are just horrible at team work but most of the time it works out nice.

Side thought-I think the most effective way to use the [slime tether](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/games/ghostbusters-the-video-game/equipment/slime-tether) is to slam them on the ground or into an object and then trap or have everybody do that to get the ghosts HPs down so they can be trapped quickly. I try not to be selfish and take any ghost to the nearest trap and not just my own.

What is the top rank? Is it [Ghostbuster of the year](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/real-ghostbusters/ghostbuster-of-the-year)?

That’s exactly what i do! I slam them into the nearest surface so everyone can wrangle them into the trap. Slime dunk is another story though. lol

Yes, [Ghostbuster of the year](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/real-ghostbusters/ghostbuster-of-the-year) is level 20. The highest rank.
