The actual indicator light is made by SloanLED:
Model # 855-S lense type D the two color codes are amber=ATL and clear=CTP. The orange/amber one is translucent and color code A could be subsituted which is nylon vs Lexan of the ATL version. The milky white one appears to be the transparent one CTP which is called clear in the catalog, the version being sold by everyone else is the translucent white WTL .

To be honest, it doesn’t matter if the part number and manufacturer is public knowledge since being able to purchase these from the supplier requires a large minimal order, much like the cranks knobs. That’s why Exoray tried to get a run started before he disappeared and that’s why the individuals who originally determined the manufacturers went to AJ since he had the capital and customer base to make purchasing these in large quantities from the manufacturer viable. Same reason the crank knob is happening right now. Same reason there are other large things of this nature constantly being worked on by individuals to supply the community with these real, accurate parts.

It was decided by a council of heavies to do so until AJ got them in the store, and then no one really cared beyond that, one way or that other.
And from what I remember, AJ put in a substantial order to reduce the price as much as possible, which is why they are so affordable in the store.

They weren’t “missed.” There were samples available of what the company currently makes for their options, and what AJ purchased is as close as you can get.
A council of heavies? Did you just type that for real? Do you guys have secret meetings? And a ring? Tell me you have a decoder ring.
Admins/Mods have a secret decoder ring. If 3 or more of them are together and place the rings together, AJ appears.

You’ve obviously never tried to get AJ to update something in the Wiki. He’s the only one that can create or rename pages and getting his attention and explaining what needs doing is a pain in the ass.
