A while back there was some renewed action on trying to find the source of the GB1 [ribbon cable](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/ribbon-cable). It was pretty clear that it would be a certain impossibility to find, I figured I try to make one. I did a few tests, I found the right colored wires (stripes included) and here is what I came up with: Unrelated note: this is my 1/6 scale pack I made like 6 years ago: ---

Thanks guys. 🙂 Yes, I am pretty proud of how they came out. As far as selling, what would be of more interest: - - Just buying a completed cable set up - Buying the wires and getting instructions how to do it yourself Hint: one will cost you less 😉 ---

See, I grew up in the 80’s and “gay” was a term people used to indicate “silly” or “stupid”. And back in the early half of the 20th century “gay” meant happy. So if I said, “Spectrastrips are happy” it would have made no sense. If I said “Spectrastrips are homosexual” that would have made even less sense. If I said, “Your mom was great last night”, that would have been insensitive. EDIT - No fair **nosilliT** you changed your reply! ---

ok so post costs and intention for both options. id be down to buy one…but if you just want to post a how to and vendor/supply list that would be cool too! both versions look better then spectra strip…cause it is gay..err, happy…i mean stupid.
