# The Logo Tilt..

I’ve been wondering something:

We all know the GB logo. Classic, unforgettable. But, in recent years, I’ve noticed that the logo has been tilted a bit clockwise on various pieces of merchandise. Does anyone know why the logo has been shifted as such?

Because Sony Consumer Products puts the tilt on the logo in their style-guide for all licensees, and so they all use it with the tilt. Whether someone at SCP did it because they thought it looked better, a decision was made to consider it “official”, or just because, it’s hard to say, but if you’re wondering why the up-tick in recent years, that’s why.

The tilt looks awful, and spoils the balance of the design.

Still odd choice to make of all things…Lets slightly tilt it lol
