Just got an email from matty saying the club ecto thank you is a glow in the dark [slimer](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/characters/slimer) figure-basically the same ad the one that came with Peter but glows in the dark! Matty are also paying for the s&h. Not bad for free ---

Not bad at all, I’ve kept all my figures in the package other than Peter with the stream, Egon with PKE and books, and Ray. Looks ike I might have to set up a Sedgewick Ballroom diorama now! ---

Never been available since 2009 Egon exclusive, eh? Guess Matty forgot about the [Ghostbusters II](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/games/ghostbusters-ii-activision) 4-pack. Looks identical to that one to me. ---

I was just holding it in my hand and comparing it to this picture. Looked like the same mold to me. Are you sure you aren’t thinking of the one that had its tongue out that came with the first Venkman? Or there were two different packagings of the GBII 4-pack…maybe they put a different [slimer](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/characters/slimer) in each…mine is the one where their Santa hats were “on” and it’s a match. ---

It’s the same [Slimer](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/characters/slimer) as Slimed Egon SDCC & TRU Exclusive [Ghostbusters II](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/games/ghostbusters-ii-activision) 4-Pack. The Slimer w/ the tongue out was only available w/ Slimed Peter. ---

What AJ? I thought the only difference between the two versions of the GBII 4 pack was how the Busters and Slimer were displayed? I have both the hats on and hats off 4 pack, both the [Slimers](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/characters/slimer) seem to be the same SDCC Slimed Egon Slimer just he is displayed in the middle of the package in one version then on the side in the other.. Is there another version with the tongue Slimer? If there is then thats new news to me. ---

Huh. I know there are a LOT of people who will love this idea but i’m just a little underwhelmed. I rarely appreciate my figures in the dark so this is a little wasted on me. Guess i’ll be selling mine. ---

This does appear to be the same [Slimer](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/characters/slimer) that came in the GBII Box sets. I have both “hats on” and “hats off” versions, and while Slimer’s location is different, it’s the same mold. I do remember in the first promo pictures of the box set, it showed the Slimer with the tounge hanging out, but I never saw that Slimer in any of the boxes at retail. If there was a chase version out there that included the Slimer with the tounge hanging out… Dang. That means my collection is not complete. ---

I also find this dissapointing… I expected another figure, something really “exclusive”, not a figure previously released, TWICE. My wife even had a better idea “Why not a [proton pack](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack), with its own stand”, it would be great having a miniature proton pack on your desk at the office… but well, as darthvader\_22uk said, “Not bad for free”. ---

I myself am very appreciative for this figure. Granted it is a small “cheap” looking figure, the fact that we’re getting it for free is awesome. Honestly, just a 1/6 [proton pack](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack) on a stand would have been the shit, but whatever. It’s free, and a figure to add to my Matty collection that not everybody will get. ---

You know what I would have rather had as a thank you? The ability to preorder Dana. But such a common sense thing would never occur to Matty. Dana is the kind of figure they should have been doing all along. That item is going to be exciting to people who don’t have any other GB figures at all…and that’s what has me worried about getting one. ---
