The Official "Let's Kiss Exoray's Ass" Thread

So far, not too shabby.

OK just came across this post…

I don’t asked for any kissing, just understanding that this isn’t a full time dedicated job for me, regardless of the fact I sell parts it’s still a hobby and there is only so much time I can devote to it between real life… I really wish I had stuff sitting on the shelf, and I did I made up a bunch of pack kits for example, what I thought would be enough for this season based on previous years and they flew off the shelf in a week this year! It caught me off guard and I have had a few supplier issues as well this year with some parts…

And this year an additional wrench was tossed into the works even making it more complicated and taking more of my time while I was already behind…

I entered this Halloween rush already behind on the dreaded pack shells and that only complicated things… The packs shells have really drug me down, down much further then I ever phantomed they would or could… So after Halloween there will be some changes to how I sell them, I will still offer them so no worries there but there will be some very different changes on how they are ordered and paid for…

My lack of communication was indeed so that I could get stuff out the door as fast as possible… I will be returning to answering PMs and emails in a much more timely manor as well as returning to the forums on a more regular basis now as the season winds down… I have only read a few post outside the Classified section in over 2 months now…

And don’t only congratulate me, honestly just give it up to all the sellers, I believe you will see a similar pattern of many of them going ■■■■ off the forums this time of year as they get overrun with orders…

Until you walk in ‘our’ shoes no one really has any idea how swamped and buried a hobby can get you this time of the year, I see it across multiple prop forums… It’s easy to say do it this way or do it that way but again when you are walking in the shoes you can’t always make those calls or you make the wrong one…

As I said lots will change after this Halloween on how I process orders, I have been behind way to long and I will be doing everything I can to never go there again…

BTW from this point on PMs should be answered in under 3 days, that will return to 0-2 days as soon as I knock out the few remaining new orders…

I have a house in Round Lake Heights, IL as well as my girlfriend having a house in Gurnee, IL I currently live between the two houses…

I also have a shop in Lakemoor (Volo) IL in the basement of my brothers Tattoo shop where I do the electronics…

Shells have been being made at the girlfriends house in her garage, but that operation will be moving over to my house now that Halloween is over…

Having the shops in different locations has been part of the problem as there is a 30-60 minute commute (traffic dependent) between shops, so I try to simply spend a whole day at one place or another doing but having paperwork and orders across two shops has it’s complications…

As for having a home makeover I already totally rebuilt my house about 10 years ago, and I mean totally… It was a single story house with dormers and a partial converted attic to living space… It’s now a complete 2 story house, all the walls were stripped down to bare studs and all brand new electric and plumbing was run, I completely redid it all even relocating the meter and fuse box and what not… All new sheeting, drywall, insulation, windows, doors, siding, roof and complete interior redo you name it… And when I say "I’ did it that is exactly what I mean, except for a few days when I needed help moving big stuff and/or standing up walls, it was a one man job, I took a year off work to do it didn’t hire anyone to do anything… I can honestly say I don’t want to do that again, it’s cool to say you built a house all by yourself but it SUCKS big time as the days drag on and it’s only you doing the work while you are trying to also live in said house…

That alone is a Golden Crunch Bar. :crunch:

Thanks for being an inspiration to the group.

Hat’s off to Flynn. I ordered a pack light kit from him a while back and after a while it stopped working. I tried to fix it myself with no luck. I emailed him and he was kind enough to fix it free of charge as long as I paid for shipping. Due to financial trouble I couldnt pay for a while. He never gave me any crap and I paid him when I could. Now my light kit is as good as new and I could not be happier with Exoray. He is an exceptional guy and I hope to get everything he offers some day. KUDOS!

As my mission in life is to gain the respect of Bestler even if it harelips the governor, Exoray has managed to accomplish this great feat. Hats off to you, Flynn.

I won’t kiss your ass, though.

Is it safe to say you’re gonna have a damn heart attack at the age of 35…

and if you’re older than that, give it another 6 months, whatever the age may be.

How do you expect to earn the respect of someone that refuses to even respect himself?

Ironic.

So Exoray really is superhuman.
